THE CHAIRMAN OF THE LGSC,EZEAKA,WIELDS THE BIG STICK.

The Chairman of the Local Government Service Commission, Ifeanyi Ezeaka Esq., has once again reiterated that the Local Government System in Anambra State, under his leadership, will stop at nothing to rid the system of truancy.

He made this declaration on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, during an unscheduled visit to the Anaku/Ayamelum Local Government headquarters for a spot check. During the visit, he discovered that the HLGA, some HODs, and several other council officers were absent without permission.

The Chairman emphasized that his administration has zero tolerance for truancy, including absenteeism and lateness.

To this end, the Chairman directed that the HODs be relieved of their appointments until further notice.This measure is intended to serve as a deterrent to other workers who may consider acting inappropriately.
