The Anambra State Local Government Service Commission, Awka, is a statutory body established to oversee and regulate the administration and personnel management of the local government system in Anambra State.<\/p>

The Commission is charged with the responsibility of ensuring efficiency, professionalism, discipline, and accountability within the Local Government Service. Its core functions include the appointment, promotion, discipline, and deployment of staff across the various local government councils in the State, in line with approved guidelines and civil service regulations.<\/p>

In carrying out its mandate, the Commission provides policy guidance, supervision, and capacity development to strengthen institutional performance and improve service delivery at the grassroots level. It works closely with the Anambra State Government, local government councils, and relevant stakeholders to ensure the effective implementation of government policies and reforms.<\/p>
