MEDIATION EFFORTS OF STATE GOVERNMENT AND NATIONAL NULGE EXECUTIVES YIELDS POSITIVE RESULT

The Chairman of the Local Government Service Commission, Ifeanyi Ezeaka Esq., has stated that peaceful coexistence is essential in any human relationship for it to achieve its goals.

He made this assertion while receiving the national executives of the Union, led by the National Vice President General South East, Comrade Lambert Onuigbo, alongside the newly elected State President and Deputy State President of the Nigerian Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE), Anambra State—Comrade Victor Okeke and Comrade Patrick Nwalutu, respectively. Other state officers were also present at Courtesy visit,which took place at his office in the Local Government Service Commission, Awka, shortly after the bye-election that produced the aforementioned officers.

The Commission’s Boss emphasized the need for industrial harmony and mutual respect in matters relating to terms of employment.

In their separate speeches, the National Vice President General South East, Comrade Lambert Onuigbo, and the new State President, Comrade Victor Okeke,eulogized the Chairman and pledged to go the whole hog in sustaining the current peace.
